The 5th Afghanistan Industry and Mining Exhibition concluded in Kabul after 5 days, attracting 300+ enterprises from 20+ countries with contracts exceeding $1 billion.
Themed "Rebuilding Afghanistan, Industry First," the expo covered 20,000 square meters with zones for mining, building materials, energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
Multiple international enterprises signed agreements with the Afghan government for mineral development, building materials production, and energy cooperation, covering copper, iron, marble, and gemstones.
The Afghan Ministry of Commerce noted that Afghanistan is rich in mineral resources with great development potential. The government will continue to improve the investment environment.
Notably, Chinese enterprises were active, signing cooperation agreements in mining and infrastructure.
